But this used to happen before also, but this time it's a bit different. The difference is, the storms are big time dusty and the rain, no matter for how long it stays, it's all mud and nothing else. All this goes to show the level of dust that has settled in the atmosphere over the past couple of years. More and more barren land is being acquired by builders to make A.C. fitted building leaving even a blade of grass crying for space. I bet an areal shot of Gurgaon would reveal a very sorry picture. The greenery is only left withing the boundaries of Golf Courses, Parks and Gardens. The Aftermath, the Summers make you feel as if you are inside a furnace, the Winters staying over scheduled and the dust level dodging every scale.
Last night it rained heavily and this morning the temperatures were quite pleasant. But the proof of my narration above was left on my bike, which enjoyed the entire rain and was left mud-stained.....

The other day I had my bike washed and polished for Rs.75 and the very next day it was covered with dust thanks to the dust storm from the previous night.
ReplyDeleteAnd today its been unusually cold for a Mid-May Day thanks to the drizzling rain..!!
The wheather has definitely been going nuts (at least in Assam and Bangalore) over the last couple of years. Looks like Gurgaon is no exception.
Payeng Dude!!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your comment!!
That's what we say 75 went to dust ;)
The dust levels are reaching new heights here day by day, thanks to those uncovered soil mountains along road-sides near construction areas over here.
