Identity Crisis

Came across this some sort of spy video, of a supposedly new Bajaj Pulsar 200 variant.

If we go by the video and believe that what's shown over here is true.... then the new Bajaj Pulsar 200 would be -
  1. Getting the full faring from Bajaj Pulsar 220.
  2. Getting the Clip-on Handle Bar from Bajaj Pulsar 220.
  3. Looked like that the bike also got Rear-Disk (but not very prominent from the video).
  4. Also by the conversation in the video, it's not clear that if the bike is carbed or Fi.

So, if the containts of video is to be believed, then Bajaj is going for Template Designing - Create a template and then fit that template on other "Upgrades".

Even though this might be cost effective, this would be killing the identity of it's flag-ship bikes and I'm not sure how it's gonna help Bajaj in the future. Not sure what are the plans for the Pulsar 220, but for now, the petite babe is surely running head on into some serious identity crisis.

Imagine a Yamaha R15 looking exactly like Yamaha R1 ;). Though it would be an awesome news for R15 lovers but it would be devastating for R1 followers
