2010 Yamaha YZF R1 LE
Yamaha says, "MOTOGP Technology with looks to match" and there it is - The 2010 Yamaha YZF R1 Limited Edition with Rossi's MotoGP M1 paint job completed with his "41", "THE DOCTOR", and replicated signature on the gas tank.

Apart from the paint job and an extra buck tag of $1210, nothing much have changed from the specs side of the bike from it's 2009 version as against some earlier speculations which said that for 2010 Yamaha YZF R1, Yamaha might go for Öhlins Electronic Suspension and Steering Damper.
2010 Yamaha YZF R6
Along with the 2010 YZF R1, Yamaha has also released the 2010 version of it's little bro - the Yamaha YZF R6.
Unlike the R1, there are titsy-bitsy changes in the 2010 Yamaha YZF R6 than it's 2009 version. For 2010, Yamaha has gone for a 100mm longer muffler for better power characteristics and reduced noice levels, along with re-mapped ECU settings for better performance.
So, it seems like for 2010 there are not much changes that have been made to the R1 and R6, which might come as a dissapointment to many. As far as I see it, since there are no engine changes for both the machines, Yamaha might think of releasing the 2009 versions of both the bikes in India sometime soon!! :)
Some day I hope these manufacturers will stop putting these hideous looking fenders on these bikes. It's the first thing people do when they get them, fender eliminator kit! Otherwise there you go...your favorite bike back again, time for you to get one I say. Or if you want try this one on for size. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/kalex-engineering-av1/#more-4387
