Times changed and Bajaj released Pulsar in 2001 and everything changed. Last year Kawasaki gave us the baby dynamite - the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and inspite of the price tag for which the average Indian mentality would get a Maruti Suzuki Alto in the family, the Ninja 250 saw immense success.
Riding on the waves of this success Kawasaki finally announced it alliance with Bajaj formally with the launch of India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd.
The plans are real big for the second quarter of 2010 where Kawasaki is planning to bring in 250cc and above Sports, Streets and Choppers from it's international range both in the CKD and CBU formats and would be using Bajaj's Chakan facility as ground zero!! The point to note here is that would Bajaj's Assembly would be able to benefit from Kawasaki's assembly experience??
Well all I can eagerly waiting for more Good Times to Roll :)
