“When what you are deeply passionate about, what you can be best in the world at and what drives your economic engine come together, not only does your work move toward greatness, but so does your life. For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work. Perhaps, then, you might gain that rare tranquility that comes from knowing that you’ve had a hand in creating something of intrinsic excellence that makes a contribution. Indeed, you might even gain that deepest of all satisfactions: knowing that your short time here on this earth has been well spent, and that it mattered.”

India Kawasaki Motors

Well.... Kawasaki is back with it's old partner Bajaj to explore more of Indian Bike market. Some years back Bajaj and Kawasaki were releasing bikes hand in hand, but that time things didn't clicked much and the venture saw a period in India. Kawasaki and Bajaj continued their partnership off the country though. For example, in Philippines, the Kawasaki Bajaj Rouser 200 (our own Bajaj Pulsar 200) which has a huge huge fan following in the country.

Times changed and Bajaj released Pulsar in 2001 and everything changed. Last year Kawasaki gave us the baby dynamite - the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and inspite of the price tag for which the average Indian mentality would get a Maruti Suzuki Alto in the family, the Ninja 250 saw immense success.

Riding on the waves of this success Kawasaki finally announced it alliance with Bajaj formally with the launch of India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd.

The plans are real big for the second quarter of 2010 where Kawasaki is planning to bring in 250cc and above Sports, Streets and Choppers from it's international range both in the CKD and CBU formats and would be using Bajaj's Chakan facility as ground zero!! The point to note here is that would Bajaj's Assembly would be able to benefit from Kawasaki's assembly experience??

Well all I can eagerly waiting for more Good Times to Roll :)
