True to it's legacy, the MV Agusta presents the 2011 MV Agusta Brutale 920.

The 2011 Brutale 920, with a new engine, chassis, one piece seat design aimed at comfort, presents a new interpretation of high power naked motorcycling. So, before going any further, let's have a look at the tech specs.

With the 2011 Brutale 920, MV Agusta is aiming the continue the Brutale legacy of providing compact and lightweight naked motorcycle experience, which has a chassis comparable to the super sports class and engine performance that would send even the hard core super bike fan to daze.


The engine configuration of the Brutale is in-line four with 16 radial valves aimed at providing the perfect balance between power and drivability. With a new Bore and Stroke, the newly developed engine of the Brutale is focused to be more manageable and at the same time bang out class leading power of 129 HP for the Full Power version.

The Brutale 920 shares the 55mm stroke unit, 2nd order engine balance shaft, the optimized oiling system and the oil cooled generator from the 1090RR unit. A number of engine components like the new cylinder block and the 73mm pistons have a cooling system with the radiator catch tank which now is at the same pressure at the atmosphere helping to keep the engine temparatures at control at various extreme riding conditions. The intake system lungs through a bank of 46mm Mikuni throttle bodies, working together with the hyper sophisticated engine management system. Fuel Injection, Ignition Management and various Engine Maps are controlled by the Magneti Marelli 5SM ECU. Normal and Sport engine map along with 8 position traction control allows the rider to enjoy the Brutale 920 to it's limits in any riding conditions.

The 2011 MV Agusta Brutale 920 might be smaller in engine capacity than it's bigger siblings, the 1090R and the 990R, but it definitely doesn't miss out on being a light weight naked performer.
