“When what you are deeply passionate about, what you can be best in the world at and what drives your economic engine come together, not only does your work move toward greatness, but so does your life. For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work. Perhaps, then, you might gain that rare tranquility that comes from knowing that you’ve had a hand in creating something of intrinsic excellence that makes a contribution. Indeed, you might even gain that deepest of all satisfactions: knowing that your short time here on this earth has been well spent, and that it mattered.”

2010 Kawasaki Ninja 650R getting launched in India soon

The middle capacity motorcycling segment is heating up and it seems the most volatile segment now. Just last week we saw the Garware & Hyosung officially unveiling the Hyosung GTR650 EFi, with a price tag, which would bring a grin on the face of even the most sadistic creature on the planet. We were just basking in the aura of the GT650R, when all of a sudden Bajaj jumped into the arena and updated the Bajaj Probiking website for the Ninja.... and guess what?? It's official now that you would see a bigger and meaner Green on stands pretty soon. Bajaj & Kawasaki are bringing the Ninja 650R or the ER-6f.

Speced very closely with the Hyosung GT650R EFi, the Ninja 650R is more on the lines of Sports Tourer rather than being a full blown Sports motorcycle like the Hyosung. True to the Kawasaki tradition of being radical and high quality, the Ninja 650R is favorite among both first time and seasoned riders equally.

From Indian market's standpoint, it would be very interesting to see, how Bajaj and Kawasaki decide to price the bike, because Hyosung has gone for the kill by pricing the GT650R, just under Rs 5 lacs ex-showroom Delhi. Internationally, the Ninja 650R takes a bit higher price band than the GT650R, but for the same insurance group.
