BMW TVS Small Motorcycles 100 Percent German Developed



In a revealing interview BMW Motorrad president Stephan Schaller has said that the first product from its alliance with Indian TVS is going to be a 100 percent BMW engineering product.

Everything, engine included, will be developed solely by the Germans, and TVS' role is to offer a cost-effective, high quality production base.

The motorcycle, codenamed K03 is set to have a sub-500cc engine – we suspect it will be a 350cc. TVS, of course, will use the same platform to also make and sell its own motorcycle.

BMW and TVS intend to sell the motorcycles through their own respective dealerships. The motorcycles are due out later this year.
