“When what you are deeply passionate about, what you can be best in the world at and what drives your economic engine come together, not only does your work move toward greatness, but so does your life. For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work. Perhaps, then, you might gain that rare tranquility that comes from knowing that you’ve had a hand in creating something of intrinsic excellence that makes a contribution. Indeed, you might even gain that deepest of all satisfactions: knowing that your short time here on this earth has been well spent, and that it mattered.”

Ducati 899 and 1199 Receive Arrow Exhausts

Ducati 899 Panigale and 1199 Panigale now have three more upgrade options for their bikes, as Arrow announces silencers engineered especially for these two sport machines.

The cans are brand new, and getting hold of them, or even tracking them down may be a little hard, but Arrow says they can provide up to 7 extra horsepower and substantial torque improvement over the stock exhausts.

Little info is known now about the new Arrow exhausts, but we can tell you that they come as an easy slip-on replacement for the standard silencers... and they might not be street-legal in all states.

The new Arrow cans fit the existing headers of the two Ducati Panigale bikes, and customers will be able to use the machines without altering the ECU settings and with no aftermarket engine mappings needed.

Carbon, titanium or stainless steel flavors
Arrow's new offer for the 899 Panigale and 1199 Panigale comprises three "flavors", carbon fiber, titanium and stainless steel. The Works version brings titanium silencers with carbon fiber end caps, while the MotoGP-inspired GP2 cans have a minimalistic design with an all-titanium construction.

Finally, the GP2 Dark silencers retain the minimalist approach of the base GP2, but are manufactured from stainless steel. The layout of the exhaust system is different from the traditional ones, as the "exhaust enters into the rear of the left-side silencer and circulates around the front of the motorcycle to the right side silencer as its final exit. This three-quarter system is designed to fit the original headers," Arrow says according to dealernews.

The GP2 Dark is obviously the cheapest of the new family of silencers, with a MSRP of $1,297.75 (€1,122). Next in line follows the GP2, sitting at $1,578.82 (€1,365) MSRP, whereas the top-of-the-line Works silencers will cost you a whopping $1,955.59 (€1,691), also MSRP, so most likely less on the street.

And how about we told you that the Ducati Scrambler is also on the "upcoming products" list?
