“When what you are deeply passionate about, what you can be best in the world at and what drives your economic engine come together, not only does your work move toward greatness, but so does your life. For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work. Perhaps, then, you might gain that rare tranquility that comes from knowing that you’ve had a hand in creating something of intrinsic excellence that makes a contribution. Indeed, you might even gain that deepest of all satisfactions: knowing that your short time here on this earth has been well spent, and that it mattered.”

Honda CB Hornet 160R revealed before launch

Honda CB Hornet 160R has been revealed through a leaked side profile studio picture, just hours before its official unveil.
The overall design of this bike is quite appealing and looks like Honda has finally got it right in terms of design. The CB Hornet 160R in contemporary design will take on the Suzuki Gixxer and the Yamaha FZ16. While both its predecessors, the CB Trigger and the CB Unicorn, did compete in the same segment, they lacked tooth in terms of aggressive design and styling. The leaked side profile shot suggests that Honda CB Hornet 160R, has got the design spot on.
The CB Hornet 160R uses the CB Unicorn 160 underpinnings, however, it will be placed above the Unicorn. If you look closely, the design inspiration for the bike has come from the Honda CX-01 Concept that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. It gets sharp design cues that starts from the headlamp cluster, runs across the fuel tank and ends at the tail section. The tank gets a matte black cover on the top in order to give it a beefier look along with muscular tank shrouds. It also gets meatier tyres, new stubby exhaust and disc brakes at both end - front and rear. However, the CB Hornet 160R gets a single seat, which looks cheap. The CB Hornet 160R sports a shorter single-piece handlebar and telescopic suspension at the front.
The CB Hornet 160R will be powered by a 162cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 14.5bhp at 8,000rpm and maximum torque of 14.61Nm at 6,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. We are expecting the top speed of the bike to be around 110kmph.
