With the people going gaga over the cruiser segment and the arena of luxury cruiser segment expanding rapidly in the country, iconic British brand Indian Motorcycle seems to be on a roll. Indian Motorcycle has inaugurated a showroom in Hyderabad. This is the 4th dealership of Indian Motorcycle in the country. Following the launching spree, the company will add two more dealerships in its portfolio next month in Mumbai and Ahmadabad.
The two-wheeler giant is also in process to make a strong foothold in areas such as Jaipur, Indore, Cochin and Kolkata in the coming months. Polaris India, the parent company of Indian Motorcycle, wants to ensure its strong reach in the major cities of the country.
Indian Motorcycle offers six products in India, namely, Scout, Chieftain, Chief Classic Vintage, Roadmaster and Chief Dark Horse. All these bikes are priced between Rs. 12- 37 lakh. Its entry-level motorcycle Scout has given new heights to the company's presence in India. Since its launch in 2014, the Scout has been tagged as the best selling product of the company.
All these motorcycles are brought in the country via Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. Indian Motorcycle products are known for their cutting edge technology packed in the classic design with various notable safety features. All these together, make them stand apart in the market.
Recently, the company announced new paint scheme for its 2016 line-up for the US market. Since the motorcycles are imported in India, the new paint scheme is also expected to arrive here in the coming months. From the company's entire gamut, only five cruiser motorcycles have been blessed with the latest paint scheme. These are - Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Scout, Roadmaster and Chieftain.
