According to the reports, the new Honda CBR250RR bike, which was showcased at EICMA motor show 2015, will receive twin-cylinder, LED Headlamps and ride by wire technology. All these features are not usually provided in a bike at this segment range. Also, these features confirms that the new 250cc bike from the company will be faster, powerful and aggressive that its existing model.
The new CBR 250RR will rival against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha YZF-R3 and KTM Duke 390. It is expected that the upcoming bike will begin production in March 2016. The two-cylinder engine Sport bike would be produced locally in the Astra Honda Motor factory in Karawang, West Java. The exact power and performance figures of the bike are yet to be revealed, but the digital cockpit of the bike reveals a 14000 rpm redline, which is more than the current CBRs- 250 and 300. Talking about styling, the bike gets uniquely designed fuel tank with layered wrap of panels and refueller in carbon fibre finish. Carbon fibre treatment is also offered on the front fender, side panels and unified rear tyre hugger, and chain guard.

The suspension system comprises of inverted front and linked Ohlins monoshock at the rear. There is a twin-throttle cables have been mounted over the switchgear. It is equipped with LED strips that add to its styling, while the split LED tail lights looks modern. According to Honda, the Honda CBR250RR gets an aggressive and urgent design concept: "Its long nose and low crouching style generate an aura of speed. Hard, massive surfaces and sharp edges enhance its aggressive feel. Attention to detail in functional components give the Lightweight Super Sports Concept a quality beyond its class, indicating the design direction of Honda’s next generation lightweight super sports models.”
