It would be wrong to say that motorcycling has been a passion since childhood or college. I used to like motorcycles, but not passionate.
It all changed when I first traveled to U.S. in 2007 and met up with Doug. Doug's father is a Drag Racer and Doug himself, an avid biker. The more we spoke about motorcycles, the fond I grew taking my interest levels to a new high. What was even more amazing to me at that time was that how people from all over the the world and of all age were passionate about their motorcycles. This changed my outlook around motorcycles and the art of motorcycling. The growing restless to find someone to speak with and share my views on motorcycles was slowly transforming into something different, a medium that would allow me to speak with the world.
During this time, it's when I chanced upon Payeng's Blog. This to me was an encyclopedia and my subsequent communication with Payeng himself, inspired me to buy the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. The growing restlessness soon transformed into my very own blog with the initial concept being limited to sharing my thoughts and encouraging friendly discussions and debates with visitors.
Today, ThrottleQuest is more than just a collection of my personal thoughts and opinions. It's an effort to bring true, unedited, sans gimmick motorcycling spirit to light.
ThrottleQuest is what I like to believe, the quest to gain knowledge & global unity through the spirit of Motorcycling.
